Location

The Centre is located in the northern area of Souda Naval Base, near the city of Chania, in the north-west of Crete, Greece.

How to come

The city of Chania can be reached from the mainland of Greece by Airplane or Ship. Chania international airport has direct correspondence with Athens international airport, (as well as other foreign international airports during the summer time). You can find domestic flights here and here. The port of Chania has direct correspondence with Piraeus. For information about ship timetables see here.

Accommodation

The city of Chania provides a variety of accommodation choices. A helpful guide can be found here. No accommodation is provided in NMIOTC facilities.

Access

The Center can be reached by car. A bus from NMIOTC provides access to NMIOTC following a specific route everyday to and from the Center. Contact the center (attn student admin/affairs section) prior to booking a hotel room, in order to get a list of accommodation choices near the bus route.
