In addition to Allied Command Transformation (ACT) accredited courses, NMIOTC through Transformation Section runs a variety of activities to contribute to ACT processes in the area of Maritime Security and MIO such as:

• Doctrine Development (ATP-71 Doctrine Development Workshop, ATP-102 Doctrine Development Workshop, EXTACs)
• Conferences, Workshops and Seminars (NMIOTC Annual Conference, Cyber Security Conference).
• Experimentation programs, offering infrastructure, assets and expertise as Subject Matter Experts in MIO (In cooperation with ACT, Academia, Research Institutes and Shipping Industry).
• Exchange of information, particularly Lessons Learned and Best Practices, with

Component Commanders and Commanders at sea, which is a highly important element that helps the Centre to fine tune the training program and assists ACT in Transformational efforts
