From 24th to 28th Sep 2018 at NMIOTC premises, was hosted the Lebanon Border Control Concept of operations Workshop #2 which is organized and conducted by DTRA (Defence Threat Reduction Agency). During the workshop, strategic issues related to countering proliferation of WMD and other forms of trafficking were discussed. where strategic issues related to countering WMD and other forms of trafficking were discussed. Forty two (42) persons from four countries (Jordan, Lebanon, U.K. and U.S.A.) participated in the workshop.

From 17 to 27 September 2018, NMIOTC hosted the “Special Operations Maritime Planning Process Course” in cooperation with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU), United States European Command (USEUCOM), and Special Operations Command Europe (SOCOM). The course was led by JSOU instructors from the United States and United Kingdom with the participation of twenty six trainees from Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, and Italy.
