On Wednesday, February 7th 2024, NMIOTC’s Annual Information Meeting (AIM) and Advisory Board (NAB), chaired by NMIOTC Commandant, was held at the Center’s premises.
From 11th to 15th December 2023, NMIOTC delivered a tailored training package to thirty (30) Mauritanian (MRT) Navy, Coastguard and Gendarmerie staff members by deploying a Mobile Education and Training Team (METT) at the “Fusiliers Marins” Naval Base in Nouakchott, MRT, in the context of the NATO Defence Capacity Building (DCB) Initiative for Mauritania.
From 28th to 30th of November 2023, the autumn iteration of NATO Exercise Programme Alignment Conference (NEPAC) took place at the NMIOTC premises. It was attended by 108 participants from most of the Allied Nations.
From 25th of October to 28th of November 2023, NMIOTC provided at a very short notice, a full C2 capability to the Commander and staff of Standing NATO Maritime Group – 2 (SNMG2).
From 20th to 24th of November 2023, a Team from Chania Fire Brigade received Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training at NMIOTC’s premises.
From 20th to 23rd of Nov 2023, the 2nd iteration of Cyber Security Training for Blue Teams – “Guardian Blue 2023”, organized by NMOTC with support from SHAPE J6, took place in live online training format and it was attended by 51 cyber security professionals in 7 national Teams, from 6 Allied Nations (Romania, Poland, Canada, Latvia, Iceland, Greece).
