NMIOTC’s New Year’s Pie Event

From Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th of December 2022, a Mobile Training Team from NMIOTC delivered tailored training related to VBSS operations, on board USS ROOSEVELT.
On Friday 23rd of December 2022, NMIOTC organized the Christmas Tree Celebration event with the participation of the families and children of the Centre’s military and civilian personnel. The event included a Christmas show and all children had the opportunity to talk and receive presents from Santa Claus himself. Earlier, the choir of 1st Paratroopers Regiment, visited NMIOTC to sing Christmas carols.
On November 7th 2022, a Team of the Hellenic Army Reserves conducted a tailored training that included practical aspects in order to improve trainees’ skills and performance in NATO Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) in Close Quarter Combat (CQC).
On Tuesday 15th November, the Secretary of the United States Navy, Honorable Carlos Del Toro, escorted by Mr. Kenneth Handelman, Department of the Navy Counterintelligence (DUSN(P)), Captain (N) Craig Mattingly, Senior Military Advisor, Captain (N) Jereal Dorsey, Public Affairs Officer, Mr. Steve Brock, Special Assistant on INDOPACOM and Ms. Vanessa Velasquez, White House Fellowship, visited the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center (NMIOTC) premises.
In the context of the INVITEX ‘NIRIIS 2022’, and during the in-port phase (6-7 November 2022), NMIOTC provided tailored training to the boarding teams of the USS FORREST SHERMAN, NRP VIANA DO CASTELO COLON, ESPS CRISTÓBAL COLÓN and to the Greek Special Operations Task Unit.
