From 10th to 14th of July 2023, the Resident Course “28000”, Radiological Search in Maritime Environment, was conducted at the NMIOTC premises.
Τhe Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Vice Admiral Frangiskos Leloudas hosted a US Congressional Delegation (CODEL) headed by Representative Jerry Moran (R-KS) and the U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. George Tsunis, at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center (NMIOTC).
On Friday 23rd of June 2023, a delegation from (AHIF), consisting of the President Mr. Nick Larigakis, ten students and three escorts, visited NMIOTC during their 15th Annual College Student Foreign Policy trip to Greece.
From 13th to 14th June 2023 NMIOTC delivered VBSS tailored training with a Mobile Education and Training Team (METT) to the boarding teams of the participating units of Exercise ADRION 23 (Italy).
From 12th to 16th of June 2023, the Resident Course 25000 “Drafting Production and Maintenance of NATO Standards”, was conducted at the NMIOTC premises.
From 7th to 8th June of 2023 the 14th NMIOTC Annual Conference titled: “Energy Security and the Maritime Interdiction; A road to pave in a complex Security Environment” took place at the NMIOTC premises. It was attended by more than 105 participants from 26 Nations, as representatives of National and International Organizations, academic community and from the shipping and defence industry.
