Resident Course 15000 “Managing Migrant related Incidents at Sea” was conducted from 27th to 31st May 2024 at NMIOTC premises.
From 21st to 23rd of May 2024, NMIOTC hosted the 10th Cyberspace Operations Annual Discipline Conference (ADC) held by the Department Head for Cyberspace Operations (CO) Discipline, the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCD CoE).
From 4th to 5th June of 2024, the 15th Anniversary NMIOTC Annual Conference titled: “Risks and Challenges in a Dynamic Maritime Domain; Strategy Adaptations, Technology Innovations and the Operational Landscape of the Future” took place at the NMIOTC premises. It was attended by more than 120 participants from 28 Nations, as well as representatives of National and International Organizations, academic community and also from the shipping & defence industry.
The Resident Course 13000 “Command Team Issues in Maritime Interdiction Operation in Support of International Efforts to Manage the Migrant and Refugee Crisis at Sea” was conducted from 20th to 24th of May 2024 at NMIOTC premises.
Underwater Post Blast Exploitation Training (UPX) was conducted from 20th to 24th of May 2024 at NMIOTC premises. Training objective was to provide comprehensive knowledge in investigating maritime terrorism incidents. The training included Diving Operations and Technical Exploitation of detonated improvised explosive devices found in a maritime environment.
