From 14th to 18th of October 2024, NMIOTC run the pilot iteration of the Course 24000 “Building Up Interoperable Capabilities for NATO Ops and the Role of MIO” at the Centre’s premises.
From 30th of September to 18th of October 2024, the Royal Netherlands Navy Fleet Marine Squadron conducted a tailored training comprised of over twenty different modules including C-IED, VBSS, combat medical and crew control. The twenty four (24) participants were at NMIOTC for fifteen training days, including four days of exercises tailored to their unit’s specialization and requirements.
From 14th to 18th of October 2024, the Resident Course 12000 “C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations” was conducted at the NMIOTC premises. This NATO-Approved Course fills an operational gap in capability and contributes to operations conducted by Boarding Teams when searching and exploiting evidence, which are fundamental to the C-IED process.
From 16th to 27th September 2024, NMIOTC contributed with one (1) Subject Matter Expert as Instructor to the SOF “Medical Instructor Development and Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor Course”, led by the Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) Medical Mobile Training Team, at the Specialized Training Complex Tsrancha, Bulgaria.
On Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, the Foreign Defence Attachés accredited to Greece (representing Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, The Netherlands, Türkiye, Switzerland, South Korea, Spain, UAE, UK, USA and Zimbabwe) visited NMIOTC’s premises.
