On Wednesday 22nd of January 2020, ten (10) Candidate Diplomats from the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On January 24, 2020, in Souda Bay Crete, the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre and Diaplous Group, a globally leading Maritime Security Company, operating in more than 27 countries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of partnership, with regards to enhancing through synergetic efforts between NATO’s but also private sectors capabilities, in areas of Maritime Security.  

On Monday, 30 December 2019, the Deputy Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited NMIOTC and exchanged season wishes with the personnel in view of the New Year’s Day. During his visit he was informed on the role and activities of NMIOTC.

On Friday 20th of December 2019, NMIOTC organized the Christmas Tree Celebration event with the participation of the families and children of the Centre’s military and civilian personnel. The event included a Christmas show and all children had the opportunity to talk and receive presents from Santa Claus himself.

The Dean of Academics of NATO Special Operations School (NSOS) and a Staff Officer visited NMIOTC on 4th December 2019.
