On 22nd February 2020, 40 Naval Cadets escorted by one Staff Officer visited NMIOTC’s premises in the context of their winter education and training trip. They were informed about the mission, roles and activities of NMIOTC and attended lectures on Maritime Law and Maritime Interdiction Operations.
Pilot Course 26000 “Tactical Emergency Care for First Responders in Maritime Operations” was conducted at NMIOTC’s premises from 17th to 21st February 2020.
On Tuesday 11th of February 2019, NMIOTC organized the “7 km Fun Run” with the addition of the 3k power walking.
NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre (NMIOTC) in collaboration with Plymouth University organized the 2nd Cyber Defense Exercise for Navy (2nd CDX-N) called “Cyber Gordian Knot 2020” on 6th of February 2020.
The NMIOTC Annual Information Meeting (AIM) and Advisory Board (NAB), chaired by NMIOTC Commandant, were held at the Center’s premises on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
On Wednesday 30th of January 2020, the Defence Attaché of the United Kingdom to Athens Captain Tim Ferns RN visited the premises of NMIOTC.
