From 13th to 17th of March 2023, the Resident Course 14000 “Maritime Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (M-IEDD)” was conducted at NMIOTC premises.
From 6th to 10th of March 2023, the Resident Course 12000 “C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations” was conducted at NMIOTC premises. This “NATO Approved” Course fills an operational gap in capability and contributes to operations conducted by Boarding Teams when searching and exploiting evidence, which are fundamental to the C-IED process.
From Monday 13th to Friday 17th March 2023, NMIOTC, as a NATO Education and Training Facility (NETF) and continuum member of Military Strategic Partnership (MSP), participated with a three staff officer delegation in the “Military Strategic Partnership Conference 2023 (MSPC 23)”, organized and conducted by SHAPE Partnership Directorate (PD), in Doha, Qatar.
On Monday 13th March 2023, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) Lieutenant General Georgios Kyriakou as representative of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) General Konstantinos Floros, the handover ceremony of the Commander of NMIOTC from Rear Αdmiral Charalampos Thymis GRC (N) to Commodore Themistoklis Papadimitriou GRC (N), took place.
From 9th to 10thMarch 2023, the “Information Assurance and Cyber Defence Capability (CaP 4)” meeting was conducted at the NMIOTC premises.
From 6th to 8thMarch 2023, the “33rd Cryptographic Services Capability Team Services Conference” (Crypto CaT) meeting was conducted atthe NMIOTC premises.
