Visit of the Commander SNMCMG2 to NMIOTC

From 12th to 23rd of February 2024 the Resident Courses 2000 “Boarding Team Theoretical Issues” and 3000 “Boarding Team Practical Issues” were conducted in tandem at the NMIOTC premises.
On Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, a delegation from the United States of America Embassy in Athens, headed by Col. M. Tobias, Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) Chief, visited NMIOTC’ premises. Colonel Tobias was escorted by Col. J. Price, Air Attaché, Cdr E. Atienza, Assistant Naval Attaché, Cdr M. Hamm, Naval Program Manager, and Mr.B. Ousley Naseman, Consular Officer.
From 12 to 16 of February 2024, NMIOTC conducted the resident Course 30000 “NATO Identity Intelligence Analyst in a Complex Environment”. The aim of the course is to develop NATO analysts who can leverage identity intelligence (I2) to enhance analysis and production to inform command decisions in NATO Joint Operations Area. The I2 Analyst course is also intended to provide a place to share lessons learned and develop analytical techniques.
From 5 to 9 February 2024, NMIOTC conducted the resident Course 1000 “Command Team MIO Issues”. The aim of the course is to assist Staff Officers and Naval Units’ Command Teams in the efficient application of NATO common standards in the planning and execution of Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO).
On Wednesday, February 7th 2024, NMIOTC’s Annual Information Meeting (AIM) and Advisory Board (NAB), chaired by NMIOTC Commandant, was held at the Center’s premises.
