From 16th to 18th of July, 2024, JALLC Advisory and Training Team (JATT), the mobile training team from the NATO Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre (JALLC), delivered “Lessons Learned Points of Contact” training to NMIOTC, IAMD CoE, NAMFI and Souda Naval Base staff officers at our Centre’s premises.
From 15th to 19th of July 2024, the Resident Course 28000 “Radiological Search in Maritime Environment” was conducted at the NMIOTC premises, utilizing wide range of the Centre’s training facilities. The course is one of the pillars of Office of Nuclear Incident Policy and Cooperation (NIPC) and NATO training effort in Europe.
From Tuesday, July 2nd to Thursday, July 4th, Military Committee Maritime Standardization Board’s (MCMSB) 2nd (away) Meeting 2024, chaired by NSO (NAVAL) and hosted by Hellenic Navy, was held at the Centre’s premises.
From 6th to 7th July 2024, a Mobile Education and Training Team (METT) delivered Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) tailored training to the boarding teams participating in Exercise BREEZE 24 (Burgas, Bulgaria).
From 17th to 21st of June 2024, the Resident Course 25000 “Drafting Production and Maintenance of NATO Standards”, was conducted at the NMIOTC premises.
The NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) “Maritime Operational Law Course” was conducted from 27 th to 31st of May 2024 at the NMIOTC premises, in cooperation with the United States Naval War College (USNWC), the NATO’s Centre of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (CSW CoE) and the NMIOTC.
