On Tuesday February 6th, 2018 the NMIOTC Advisory Board (NAB) meeting took place in the Center’s premises chaired by the NMIOTC Commandant. NAB is a body responsible for providing advice on all NMIOTC activities to the Commandant,for a more effective execution of his mission. The NAB is composed of NMIOTC Commandant as Chairman and the Sponsoring Nation’s Representatives (BGR-CZE-ITA-ROU-TUR).
From 22nd to 26th of January 2018, biometrics and e-learning specialists from 6 NATO Nations, Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and Allied Command Operations (ACO) participated inthe TNA Workshop Biometrics Course, which took place in NMIOTC premises. Purpose was the educational content establishment and finalization of the ADL version of the Course.
On Tuesday 23rd of January, a Delegation of Embassy Candidates from the Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, escorted by Plenipotentiary Minister B’, Mr Ioannis Papameletiou, visited NMIOTC and were informed about the mission, roles and activities of the Centre.
From 15th to 26th January 2018, the Train-the-Trainers Technical Instructors Course was conducted at NMIOTC premises, in cooperation with the Hellenic Navy ‘’PALASKAS’’ Training Centre. The objective of the course was to provide the basic technical skills, advanced teaching methods and presentation skills, required to teach technical subjects in an international training audience, while maintaining the high qualification level of the NMIOTC’s instructors in the context of the SACT Quality Assurance Process. In total 18 staff officers from Bahrain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Italy and USA participated in the course which was instructed by 2 Hellenic Navy ‘’PALASKAS’’ Training
