Tailored Training delivered to ITS FASAN
Based on a request from the Italian Navy Frigate ITS FASAN, on October 20th, 2025, NMIOTC delivered one-day Tailored Training to 35 members of MIO Command Team (CT) and Boarding Team (BT) of ITS FASAN. The Command Team training encompasses MIO related: Operational Planning, RoE and Unit Organization, while the Boarding Team training was aimed at enhancing Practical VBSS capability in MIO as well as Close Quarters Combat Skills
On the occasion of the training, NMIOTC Commandant received in his office Real Admiral (LH) Marcello Grivelli, Commander of the ITA-N 3rd Naval Division (COMDINAV TRE) to discuss future opportunities for VBSS training of Italian warships’ boarding teams.
