On October 19^th 2018, NMIOTC celebrated its tenth year anniversary.

The Minister of Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Panos Kammenos escorted by the Chief of Hellenic National Defense General Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis GRC(N), Chief of Hellenic Navy, Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis GRC(N) and Chief of Hellenic Air force, Major General, Christos Christodoulou GRC(AF), visited the Centre.

Among the distinguished guests, were also the Ambassador of the USA in Greece, H.E. Mr Geoffrey Pyatt, former Chief of the HNDGS Admiral Panagiotis Chinofotis, former NMIOTC Comamandants, representatives of 22 NATO HQ’s and countries, as well as local Allied/National and Military/Civilian authorities.

The ceremony started with the flag raising of NMIOTC sponsoring and Contributing Nations (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Romania, Turkey, UK and USA).

At the second part of the ceremony there were speeches by NMIOTC COM, Commodore Stelios Kostalas GRC N, SACEUR’s and ACT representatives, Major General Egil Pedersen NOR A and Admiral Manfred Nielson DEU N, respectively and the distinguished participants above-mentioned. After a video presentation about NMIOTC’s Development and evolution over the years, the ceremony concluded with the cake cutting for NMIOTC’s birthday.
