NMIOTC Course 12000 “C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations”

From 12 to 16 October 2026, the NMIOTC delivered Course 12000 “C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations”, hosting eleven (11) participants from Georgia, Greece, Italy, Kuwait, Mauritania and Ukraine.

The aim of this “NATO-Approved” Course is to train Boarding Team personnel in NATO Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), required to undertake expedient weapons intelligence tasks aboard vessels and other Maritime infrastructure in support of C-IED operations. The course was delivered with the support of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the FBI, the Hungarian Non-Commissioned Officers Academy and the Hellenic Police, in cooperation with NMIOTC Sea Trainers/Instructors.
