Multilateral Exercise “MEDUSA 15”

From 11 to 13 September 2026, NMIOTC delivered a tailored training to forty (40) members of SOF and Boarding Teams of Nations participating in the multinational Joint Invitation Exercise ‘’MEDUSA 15/2026’’. The training focused on improving skills, awareness and performance on Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO).

Moreover, on Friday 11 September 2026, Rear Admiral Mohsen Hatata EGY (N) and Captain Andreas Tsoumanis GRC (N), Commander of the Second Frigates Squadron/Hellenic Fleet Command, visited the NMIOTC, accompanied by the Commanding Officers of Naval Units from Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, and Italy, participating in MEDUSA 15. During their visit, they were briefed by the Commandant of NMIOTC on the mission and activities of the Centre and the training delivered to their personnel.
