Exercise Toxic Bay 2025 at NMIOTC
From 22nd to 27th June 2025, NMIOTC hosted and supported with its Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) the 1st edition of the Naval CBRN Exercise “TOXIC BAY 25”, which utilized a wide variety of the Centre’s training facilities and capabilities. This multinational CBRN exercise was organized by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) in cooperation with the Hellenic Navy General Staff (HNGS).
The exercise objective was to train CBRN specialists and naval operators in all aspects of CBRN defence in a warm climate, in efficient management of CBRN events, using NATO’s five CBRN components per the relevant doctrine, and also in organizing and conducting CBRN training events using the CBRN Scenario Database.
38 participants from 11 NATO Nations participated in the exercise.
