Course 21000 “Medical Combat Care in Maritime Operations”

From 13th to 24th of October 2025, the Resident Course 21000 “Medical Combat Care in Maritime Operations” was conducted at the NMIOTC’s premises.

The goal of this course was to transfer knowledge and create & enhance trainees’ skills so as to provide pre-hospital emergency medical assistance from the point of injury in the mission/theatre until the final transfer to the closest Medical Treatment Facility is accomplished.

In total, eighteen (18) participants from six (6) Countries (Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Japan and Lithuania) attended the course. Training was delivered from Subject Matter Experts certified as NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians) instructors and augmenters specialized in extraction from confined spaces, Prolonged Casualty Care (PCC) and K9 TCCC.
