Course 14000 “Maritime IED Disposal (M-IEDD)”
From 20th to 24th October 2025, the Course 14000 “Maritime IED Disposal (M-IEDD)” was conducted at NMIOTC’s premises.
The aim of this course was to educate and train EOD personnel to competently undertake IEDD Operations on-board vessels and other Maritime Infrastructure in support of C-IED and related operations. The training covered the subject concepts; philosophy, principles, equipment, ship insertion and Maritime focused IEDD methodologies, as well as best practices in the Maritime environment.
Fifteen (15) trainees from three (3) countries (Canada, Greece and United Kingdom) and four (4) augmenters from USA Army and Hellenic Police Bomb Squad, participated in the course.
