Course 27000 “Maritime Sniper Course”
From 4 το 15 May 2026, NMIOTC delivered the Resident Course 27000 “Maritime Sniper Course” in the broader area of Chania, Crete.
In total, twenty three (23) trainees from six (6) countries (Belgium, Germany, Greece, Malta, Netherlands and Slovakia) planned and conducted Sniper Operations in the Maritime Environment.
The course included firings from:
- land to fixed and towed targets at sea.
- helicopter to fixed and towed targets at sea.
- helicopter to fixed targets along the coast line.
- land to land for zeroing day and night.
- land to land for penetration testing.
- land to land for Target Acquisition Drill (TAD).
The Course was delivered by NMIOTC instructors with the support of fourteen (14) guest instructors from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain and USA.
