Course 14000 “Maritime IED Disposal (M-IEDD)”

From 9 to 13 March 2026, NMIOTC delivered its Resident Course 14000 “Maritime IED Disposal (M-IEDD)”.

The aim of this course is to educate and train EOD personnel to competently undertake IEDD Operations on-board vessels and other Maritime Infrastructure in support of C-IED and related operations. The training covered the basic concepts, philosophy, principles, equipment, ship insertion and Maritime focused IEDD methodologies and best practices.

Thirteen (13) trainees from six (6) countries (Canada, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland) and five (5) guest instructors from USA, C-IED CoE, HUN Army and the Hellenic Police Bomb Squad, participated in the course.
