Course 12000 “C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations”

From 2 to 6 of March 2026, the NMIOTC delivered its resident course 12000, C-IED in Maritime Interdiction Operations. The aim of this NATO Approved Course is to train Boarding Team personnel in NATO Tactics, Technics and Procedures (TTPs) in order to able to undertake expedient weapons intelligence tasks on board merchant vessels and other maritime infrastructure, in support of C-IED operations.

In total, 10 trainees from 5 countries (Germany, Greece, Malta, Poland, Qatar and Ukraine) attended the course which was delivered by NMIOTC Sea Trainers/Instructors and guest instructors/Subject Matter Experts from FBI, the Hung arian Non Commissioned Officer Academy, the C-IED Centre of Excellence and the Hellenic Police.
