Course 28000 – “Radiological Search in Maritime Environment”

From 16 to 20 February 2026, the NMIOTC delivered the Resident Course 28000 “Radiological Search in Maritime Environment” utilizing a wide range of the Centre’s training facilities.

Twenty four (24) participants and eleven (11) Subject Matter Experts (SME) from eight (8) nations (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, and USA) took part in the course.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) supported the course with SMEs, equipment and ‘know-how’.
