NMIOTC Course 31000 “Harbour Protection and its Relation to MIO”
From 31st to 4th of April 2025, the Resident Course 31000 “Harbour Protection and its relation to MIO”, with support from the NATO Centre of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (CoE CSW) and the Bundeswehr’s Technical Center for Ships and Naval Weapons, Maritime Technology and Research (WTD-71), was conducted at the NMIOTC premises.
In total, eighteen (18) trainees from five (5) NATO Nations (Germany, Greece, Latvia, Portugal and Slovenia) were trained in NATO Practices & Procedures regarding operational and tactical dimensions of planning and conducting Harbour Protection Operations (HPO).
